About

NACJ is an organization of criminal defense attorneys whose goal is to protect and insure the individual rights guaranteed to all people by the Nevada and Federal Constitutions and to improve the quality and administration of justice for those people accused of crimes. NACJ also provides a voice for the Nevada criminal defense bar by allowing the criminal defense bar to participate in the Nevada legislative process, as well as provides a forum for sharing information and support for those who practice criminal defense.

The NACJ was founded in 1989 by:

Donald Campbell, David Chesnoff, Douglas Crawford, Dominic Gentile, former Mayor of Las Vegas Oscar Goodman, Hunterton & Naylor, John Momot, Posin & Posin, Cal Potter III, Vincent Savarese, James Smith, William Smith, former District Court Judge Jeffrey Sobel, Michael Stuhff, Richard Wright, and Mace Yampolsky.

Membership in the organization is open to all attorneys in the State of Nevada who practice criminal defense in both the public and private sectors. NACJ has monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of every month at the office of the Federal Public Defenders located at 411 Bonneville, 2nd floor, Las Vegas.
